    Worth a remark?
I've got an A in my French GCSE and after looking up the grade boundaries i've realised i'm 5 marks off an A*.

I got an A in my speaking and writing sections and an A* in listening and reading.

    The exam board is CCEA.

Is it worth the remark? And will it get remarked as a whole subject or will each section within the subject be remarked individually?

    Thanks

It's probably worth a remark just in case and each area of the subject will be remarked or if you want you can get just that exam remarked

I can't say I have a decisive answer to your question as I can't speak from experience but I can say that I'm having the same feelings right now. I got a B in my Maths GCSE and an A would open up a bunch of doors for me - so a re-mark seems the logical thing to do.

We're both sitting in the upper echelons of the grade boundary, so even if the remark was lower, your grade as a whole would be unaffected - I'd go for it!

I have a few subjects i'd like to remark but mannn, remarks are expensive! £25.30 i think it is for CCEA per script. How many marks are you off an A? I was 4 marks off an A* in maths last year and paid to remark my full exam which cost me about 30 or 40 quid and only gained 1 extra mark so i ended up paying about twenty something quid to resit it and got my A*. I seriously wish i tried harder to get the grades first time round...

Good luck with whatever decision you make though

How do you find out how many marks you have got? I only see the 'gradeometer' every time
