worth resitting?

just need a bit of advice...

basically ive just got my AS level grades and im looking to go down a politics route at uni. basically, i didn't do too well in french (got a C) but got an A and 2 Bs in english lit, history and economics. therefore im wondering if its worth keeping history,economics at A2, but resitting french AS. to me it seems it would be a waste of time and effort, but im not sure. thankssssssssssssss.
