I'm going to be driving into Uni everyday aswell, and was worried about missing out on things or finding it hard to make friends because of missing out on the stuff the other students will be doing because they live there

Glad i found this thread, it takes me bout 45 mins from north london to get there , and i take the 610 back to enfield ... which is isnt bad timewise but is gunna cost me a lot ...
I definatley agree that the social aspect of commuting is disappointing though , most of my london friends live near me so i didnt even once think of moving out until i realised i cudnt go to any freshers events because travelling there and back for freshers does not make any sense !! now i really regret not moving out !

Yeah it's pretty impossible to go if you don't have a place to stay for the night, and a taxi back would be insanely expensive if you were by yourself.
