Re: Current Year 10 Thread (2011/2012)Oh, even if I was bothered by rep, I have enough to not be worried(Original post by Little Tail Chaser)
Fair enough
I never really got why people want to be OP, you get negged for no apparent reason. Not that I really give a rat's ass about rep, but whatever

Re: Current Year 10 Thread (2011/2012)I am going to do Further Maths,in English time next year, which will leave me with 5 hrs of Maths assessment in summer 2013(Original post by Little Tail Chaser)
Hi there!
Welcome to the thread! You have an interesting mix of subjects there, I don't think we have anyone else on here that does Arabic
I do Art too, what you you think of it?
The H stands for Hook Phrase ('This shows that' , 'The author shows' , 'Which gives the impression' , 'This suggests' , 'This implies' etc)
You're going to enjoy Lit then!
Have you read any of those books/plays before?
Congratulations on completing them
Are you going to take some more subjects next year?
.

Re: Current Year 10 Thread (2011/2012)
To let you all know, I plan on renaming the thread once the Year 11's have changed their's to Year 12's. I don't mind when that is and I won't set an official date (unless someone wants me to contact their thread over to discuss a change-over date?), but I assume around the end of August/beginning of September.
Year 11 sounds scary and hard work, but fun at the same time. And this year went really fast... -

- Oh and late August/early September sounds good!
Year 11 is where the adventure begins! -
Re: Current Year 10 Thread (2011/2012)I don't suppose at this rate we'll need a Mark II by then(Original post by Dougieowner)

I don't know how the Year 11s managed to get their Mark III to over 8000 posts in a few weeks
and I totally called the Mark II

Us, year tens talk on their thread as well, but they don't talk on ours, and they're generally more active as they have all their results this year, we have a few :P(Original post by MangoFreak)

Re: Current Year 10 Thread (2011/2012)Speak for yourself, I have 3 weeks left(Original post by shadab786ahmed)
I know! Quite embarrassing too! Oh well, technically we're year 11s now, and "year 11s" are in limbo till results day...

Re: Current Year 10 Thread (2011/2012)I suppose that's true. My English teacher has been apparently hiding the fact that we've already started English Lang from the Head of English(Original post by shadab786ahmed)
So do I, but as we're doing our year eleven stuff... May as well be :P

Re: Current Year 10 Thread (2011/2012)
I'm really annoyed, because none of the good colleges, to which I would expect to go, would have option blocks that allow me to take Math, Physics, German AND Chemistry

I need Physics and Maths to get onto the University course I'd like, so I don't know whether to choose German or Chemistry
-
You haven't started English Language? What exam board will you be with?(Original post by MangoFreak)

That sucks... I would say Chemistry because I love it but I also love languages, so what's the course?(Original post by MangoFreak)

Perhaps solely Physics, but at least at Cambridge I can do Maths and Physics and then switch to Physics if I wish

Even though I fail badly at it, but whatever, it's still interesting.
