Bus card worth it?

I am hoping to stay in Fallowfield campus (still haven't got back to me), and I am aware that a bus is required to get up to and back from Uni for lectures. My question is, is it worth me buying an annual bus card worth around £185 or are there cheaper alternatives available?

So it's definitely a worthwhile investment? Just a big initial payment, but I suppose that would be me sorted for the whole academic year and travel costs would be minimalised straight away. Can you use the card on any route or just from Fallowfield to the University?

Yeh, you can use the pass on any Stagecoach or Magic bus in Greater Manchester.

Stagecoach basically cover all southern routes in the city. Since uni is in the south it covers most of a students journeys. If you want to go north though you might have to pay from the city centre
