i'm not bragging at all, i said i did law in my first post and then i saw it was negged because someone on here is either trying to be funny or that they're somehow jealous..

There was no need for bragging, most law grads end up as law receptionists anyway-only the best will become lawyers/solicitors or barristers. Seriously, you need a reality check it's not that good of a degree!

Some builders in our house asked me what I was studying (Biochemistry) and one of them asked 'Oh....so can you make bombs then?!'
When I tell people I'm going to study Journalism, people usually joke about me hacking their phones, or make reference to the Leveson Enquiry. 
I haven't even started my course and I already get responses like, "what am I thinking?" "tell me about my childhood" and such (future psychology and philosophy student)
For some reason psychology seems to equate with mind reader.
Usually I just play along and blag about their "repressed sexual desires" and what have you

Usually 'you bastard' because the degree that i am studying is their third one that they are giving me and i'm vocally expressing my disdain for it.
I'm going to tell people I study Applied Martial Art and Linguistics. Or Ninjistics.
I don't really get much of a reaction. How disappointing :/
