Mine is generally "Oh, what languages can you speak?"

-.- none. I study the SCIENCE of language as a whole. Not specifically any specific language.

It's good, probably a popular degree for a lot of reasons.
Which exam board are you on? do you do the one with 20 studies in your first year and then criminology/education in A2?
It's quite different at every uni and especially if it's either BA or Bsc. I do Bsc and there's a lot of physiology of human behaviour which I like the best. It's really interesting to see the biology behind psychology. A lot of the social psychology is very popular too which is quite a lot of what was done at A level. TBH first year is really easy too, a lot of it was what I did at A level. Maybe have a read of pop psychology book and see what you think. Have you looked into any Uni's?

    I'm doing Medicine, I get:

"Ah cool, though what made you want to be nurse?"

    Always makes me smile.
Lol I bumped into an old friend the other day and she asked what I was planning to do and I said I'm looking at applying for graduate medicine and she looked blankly at me and said, "I copied off you in year 9 Science SATs and did crap" CHARMING!

Out of interest, what jobs are available in Literature? I am studying AS literature at the moment and was under the impression that jobs that relate to it are pretty scarce but I am probably wrong.

Was thinking of Sheffield because I'm predicted AAB which suits the unis entry requirement.

I'm on the exam board AQA 'A' - this Wednesday I'm doing the psya1 exam - developmental and cognitive with research methods and the following Tuesday I have psya2 - biological, social and individual differences.

I'm confident for psya1 partly because I am brilliant at cognitive psychology and research methods however, I just need a little more developmental revision and then I'll be all prepped.

But I love psychology and wish to further study the subject providing I get an A with my AS exams.

Also, I'm pretty sure we don't do education and criminology in A2.

Glad to hear your enjoying psychology especially seeing as year 1 is slightly easier as this will allow more time for drinking

Yeah it's different to what I did at A level. I couldn't remember what exam board I did at A level. TBH I had a module called biological, social and individual differences in second year so sounds like you will really enjoy it. I would say to maybe check it is accredited by the BPS if you are thinking in the future of going into being a chartered psychologist. I know it's only early days for you but it is something to take into consideration

I's doing Zoology with Animal Behaviour (people tend to get bored before I get the whole thing out so I just say Zoology) and I ALWAYS get the response 'oh, so you want to be a zookeeper then? you don't need a degree to do that, do you?' >.< bleedy annoying let me tell you. Yes, I may be a zookeeper one day, but NO that is NOT why I'm taking a degree in Zoology >.<

Are you bragging because you're proud of the quality of a law degree, or bragging because you'll have lots of free time from the easy degree?

    It's hard to tell.

There was no need for bragging, most law grads end up as law receptionists anyway-only the best will become lawyers/solicitors or barristers. Seriously, you need a reality check it's not that good of a degree!
