"I'm doing the btec in IT business applications. How hard will it be for me to get a job after it when j am 18?"

Good luck with your BETEC this should give you some insight into IT, as well as provide you with some good qualifications. The job market atm is extremely difficult for all sectors so it will be tough to get a job after the course. However, in two years time it may have changed. You could always go to University after you have plenty of years ahead of you.

    "
What do you mean by 'volunteering for an IT charity and citizen advice'.
    "

What I did was give you examples on how you can gain experience within IT. Citizen Advice is a charity that has its own specific IT volenteering role, which could provide you with plenty of experience. You may also have IT charities based near you for example I have one which is run by the NSA and provides a whole host of IT functions such as support, repair, IT recycling, training, to the local community. Search volenteering jobs england and you will find plenty of websites giving you the option to search.

    Good luck

    Hi,

I did BTEC in IT and then went to University where I studied Information System and Graduate last month and right now doing an Internship.

I would say that you dont need a a degree these days, even if you have one its hard to find well paid job.
So I would say start looking for Internships in IT.
