Very, very quick - will probably delete shortly - shout for my digital publication (dislike the word "blog" - not euphonious...), Pulsar.

To its credit, it's had high praise from well-regarded composers and music writers.
To its demerit - or further credit? - pieces there have been knocked back for potential publication by most of the popular music press.

Blogspot is the easiest to put Google ads onto, but it's ugly as sin. Check out 1&1 Hosting's current sale on Wordpress hosting and domains, and do the ad stuff by hand.
