What AS levels to take.

Hi,
This is my first post so not hundred percent its in the right place.
I just wanted to ask for advice from people who have gone through as levels.
Im debating whether to do 5 as-levels or just stick to 4. My reason for wanting to do 5 is i like them all and think i may be able to cope, but im not really sure. :/
In my gcses i achieved 1 A* and rest A's, not the best on here but alright to say i did hardly no work :P
The AS's I am wanting to do are
Maths
Physics
Chemistry
Biology
History.
Then planning to drop physics and carry on with the 4 .
What do you think?
Btw i am hoping to go into medicine
And i do realise i will have to put work in, not like gcse's but is this managable as well as having an ok social life and doing so shadowing in the holidays.
Thanks for your time!

I did those but with further maths, not chemistry. I also had to self teach history!
If you work hard, you should be fine, even with shadowing, and you should be able to keep your social life pretty much as it always has been!
If you really want to do those subjects then it is doable so you can do it, but if you aren't sure about one then don't bother forcing yourself to do it!

You can always start with 5 and drop down to 4 if you want to.

:O i bet that was hard to self teach history, looks enough work with a teacher.
And im glad to here someone say that, I am just not sure, which makes me think is it really worth it :/
Will the fifth AS-level put me at any advantage at all do you know?
Thanks for the reply!
