Re: Keele Medical School Applicants 2012
As far as I know, there aren't any catered halls at Keele. You used to be able to buy a meal-plan for the year, which provided most weekday meals in the Comus restaurant, but I've just had a quick look at the website and the meal-plan doesn't appear to exist anymore. -
Re: Keele Medical School Applicants 2012I think they just introduced it this year! Yeah, you are right though, there is no meal plan on the website. Apparently, its not in Comus anymore though, but at Hawthorns Restaurant instead (with the 'catered' block being in Hawthorns itself).(Original post by psyc_postgrad)

Re: Keele Medical School Applicants 2012The defence unions are basically there to help you out and provide free legal advice etc if someone decides to sue you basically. Membership is free and you will find that on the first day at the medical school there will be a stall within the medical school where you can sign up (it is time tabled in anyway). They usually give away freebies also which is always good(Original post by pi=3)
Did anyone else read that part on the offer letter which said that we should join a Medical Defense Union? Any idea what that means and how we should do that?
