Undergraduate accounting yr1

Hi all

doing accounting yr1, need help on a few problems. thx in advance

1. I've heard about book fairs being held throughout the year and especially during the freshers week, where can i get more information on locations and dates?
2. To all doing accounting, are there any books you would recommend or would like to sell, pls advise/contact me
3. As for the optional modules, which of those will be needed for exemplification for an ICAEW license.
4. Turning to accommodation, I've been put to st anselms (hooray or boo not sure :s) hope any of you slems can give me some idea of what its like.
5. since im not that close to main campus, would it be better to get a bus pass or a bike?
6. Finally, is it possible for a 1st year undergrad to view his course syllabus for 2nd yr? if so, where can i find it?
