Tinned Titans: Which Tinned food is the Tastiest, Which Canned Food is Craptacular?

Baked beans.... Although to be fair, I've never seen them come in anything but a tin so I can't compare. XD

You can't beat Ambrosia Rice Pudding out of a tin. Along with that, Golden Syrup must be out of a tin not a squeezy bottle (purely so I stick a spoon right into the gloopy depths of Lyle's Golden Syrup. :cookie:)

Ambrosia custard! <3

For the win
in the Microwave for a minute with a big knob of butter

For the bin
- Why is this still even made?! :lolwut:

haha you said knob :h:

yeah im immature
I suddenly have a craving for spaghetti hoops on toast. :frown:

Tinned ravioli is pretty good also, and personally I love corned beef. Marks and sparks tinned chinese chicken curry is magic.

Any tinned vegetables are yuck (with the exception that tinned potatoes are great in omelettes, but only in omelettes), especially peas. I mean, peas are meant to be properly green, not that horribly murky anaemic green colour of tinned peas...

I'm afraid I don't like beans and sausages by association. We used to have them when camping, when we also used to have campbells meatballs, which I think are disgusting. So for me sausage and beans=camping=cambells meatballs=yuck.

And why they still make spam is one of the great mysteries of life...

Seriously, try it. It's nothing like sushi. It's really cheap and you can make 10 with one can.

I'll try. I actually like sushi but the prospect of spam + sushi doesn't appeal but hey, I might as well give it a go!

Baked Beans,
Spaghetti hoops
Sweetcorn
Tesco's brand of soups

Not so good
Anything generally with meat in it. Seriously, why would you buy it in a can!?

It didn't look too bad from the first picture, that is until you could see the soggy wreck. I am sure the burger itself would be fine canned - probably tastes just like the tinned meatballs (and is probably a similar recipe). Tinning bread was obviously the schoolboy error here.
