Re: Who indeed
I'm not going into my views on Religion. It's so overdone! :P But this is a brilliant quote, althought I'm sure people will say they do pray for the devil in a round-about-way. Like satan manifests himself in the evil things people do, and those people are prayed for-maybe something like that.

Re: Who indeed
Satan made his choice, fully understanding what he is doing. I always wondered why God didn't sentence Satan to the lake of fire the moment he fell. Then, knowing God's love for us and His nature of love, just like He showed us grace, perhaps he showed the devil grace after he sinned. Yet instead of receiving God's grace, Satan went out and caused Adam and Eve to fall, sealing his fate. (That is just one thought I had on why Satan wasn't immediately sentenced after he sinned)
So ultimately, Satan has made his choice. He believes that he can get God to sin just once. (Look at what sin did to Adam and Eve. It brought about their death eventually.) If he could succeed, God would also come into a fallen state, as that is what sin does. There is no reason to pray for the devil for two reasons. One, we would effectively be praying to take away his free will. God will never take away free will. Two, how would the devil be saved? God has provided no way to save him. (and like I said, perhaps God did provide a way for Satan, but Satan sealed his fate when he tempted man to sin) -

Re: Who indeedThats another thing I don't get about Christianity.
Your God is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient... and an angel rebels against it?
If your God is omnipotent, Satan will surely know he could never win a fight. If omnipresent, God will be watching Satans every move. Hell, as he's also omniscient, he'll know in advance that he was going to rebel, and how he'd do it, and surely Satan would take all of this into account and just think; whats the point in fighting that?
Insanity.
