Anyone know how to improve the style of writing? I'm told I write well but not elegantly :s
Try to imitate the style in which academics write? Obviously, keep it to your natural style and don't go overboard but just keep reading and really look at how they write.

thank you good luck to you too!
ouchie! if you manage your time well, it should be fine! time-management is the key
I'm going to meet a professor tomorrow at a London uni tomorrow, who's agreed to help me with my research paper He's the author of a book I randomly picked up, emailed him..and he agreed to meet me. So, it's definitely worth emailing academics and asking for help - after all, if its a subject area they love and work on for a living, they would probably be happy to help!
Awesome! Hopefully you won't have too many changes to make
Why would you subject yourself to such torture?! Good luck!
I guess your free now! Enjoy!
I hope so, I hope so..
God knows. I'm just crazy. I only need something like 65% on this report but I'm aiming for 75-80%. Just formulated my own statistical framework to make it all fancy and clever. I have no idea what I'm doing but it looks good

Basically, I reference someone's article at the start of a paragraph, in the normal way of Name (Year). But then a sentence or two later I refer back to that article, without having referenced anyone else or talked about anything else in between. Must I put the year again, or is saying something along the lines of: Additionally, Name asserts this and blah blah, which is blah. That said, his claim is somewhat valid given the general assumption of blah.

Is something like that alright?
Thanks
I'd say that was fine. I would only reference it again if I'd referenced something inbetween or if it wasn't immediately obvious that you're still referring to the same article.
