It took me quite a while to understand what could be offensive about that slogan! I like it though and don't think it's offensive. It only is when people read it incorrectly...

Went to bed early with a huge head ache last night and only just woke up. Long day of dissertation work ahead...

Bee, I think when you really like someone you don't look for possible faults in them/in the relationship. How long have you guys been going out?
We've been together for almost 9 months now, but we've been in the same friendship group since we were 11 and we went to nursery together

Missing physical contact today - just hugs and hand holding and stuff. But we've planned when we're seeing each other for the next 2 months (yay he doesn't mind me being organised) and the way its worked out is pretty awesome, get to see him 2 weekends in a row at one point and the rest is only 2 weeks in between

Longgg day at work. I'm in the Pensions department at the moment and I'm moving to Corporate on Monday, where I'll be in 9am-8pm most days, later sometimes. At least it'll make the weeks go by faster? Maybe?xx

May have just had a half an hour shower, and used up all the hot water in the process

On the plus side, I'm now all sparky and clean for visint the boy tomorrow Just need to pack everything tonight - I've got a tutorial 9-11, then my trains at 11.50, so I need to be able to just quickly grab my stuff when I get in.

EDIT: Boo, think the boy has fallen asleep without texting me I like my goodnight texts!

Yeh, still the same school. I'm still not there permanently and I'm still non the wiser about how long I'm still going to be there!
Oh thats annoying but guess it's still good you have a job and are still working with the same class Was getting confused as thought their class teacher was back in January but i'm assuming not.

Urgh, tonight's been depressing what with knowing he's not coming tomorrow any more :\

It's not even being LDR that's bothering me at the moment like it is with you guys, it's all the uncertainty about when we'll even get to see each other. Because I have SO much work and he has money issues and exams coming up, we can't be sure of when he can visit me or vice versa much in advance, if at all. The only way I'll see him next weekend is if his dad lends him some money (because, again, I can't go and see him because of essays/tutorials/etc), otherwise we have no idea when it'll be. So yeah, it's not even the LDRness I'm sick of, it's the fact that we can't have a structure of seeing each other every other weekend or whatever :sigh:

Also, third year is horrible. I'm so full of caffeine and stresseddddd and ugh.

Boy and I seem to be doing pretty well at the minute... 2 weeks in and so far we've managed a skype session pretty much every day
He seems to be pretty up and down though, his timetable's fairly empty at the minute, and he says he's missing me more than he ever thought he would, so quite often he'll come online and seem really down I'm sure he'll be ok once his course starts properly this week.
Only 94 days to go... visa sorted, flights booked Just got to find the motivation to keep trucking with this term's work... feels so endless!

Hope everyone else is doing ok x

:hugs: third year is horrible I had a really rough time in mine. A lot of people don't realise how expensive LDRs are! Hope you manage to sort something too. It costs me and the bf £60 every time we visit each mother  SO expensive.xx

    This made me chuckle

Sorry to hear that Rainy, it's quite depressing when you can't set up a solid system. Stay strong! :hugs:

Eugh, this. Train fare has gone up to £70 since January. And the hassle of booking in advance just isn't worth the amount I save (the main route I use doesn't seem to do advace fares, so I have to go by a differed route, and book through 3 different train operators)

:hugs: RD, really hope you get something sorted. Is there any way you could meet in the middle again? (it was you guys who met in the middle once, wasn't it? Or am I just confused...)

So, I had a very interesting day yesterday! Just before I was supposed to skype the boy, he bbmed me to say that hed got an email to say a parcel he'd sent me had been signed for at reception and i had to go get it before he'd skype me, so i walked down to reception in my pjs wondering how i was going to ask that in spanish, got down there to see someone waving at me (which confused me cos i dont know anyone in my halls) turns out it was the boy  he came a week early as a surprise for me  love that boy so much BUT my day gets more interesting, he went for a shower, but my showers really awkward and the temperature thing is at shoulder height, he knocked it accidentally and burnt himself, fell over and now we think he's broken his foot :sigh: oh well! Just so amazingly pleased to see him! Best surprise ever

We could do that, but for the sake of a few hours together and then feeling miserable when we part because we didn't get to stay the night with each other, I'd rather just wait until we can see each other properly tbh. Having this weekend to myself is going to be massively beneficial to my essay work anyway, since I was really worrying about how I'd get it all done with the boy here, so it's okay

Train fares in this country are an absolute joke, it pisses me off so much!

    That's so lovely Jelly!

Can't wait to see the bf later, had such a tiring week. It was my sister's birthday yesterday so I'm taking her to the circus tonight then he's gonna meet me. Going bowling for her bday party tomorrow, then off to a friend's flat in the evening, just wanna relax! Was asked to go out tonight and we said yes first, but changed our minds.

So tired already and it's only 2pm!

I'm feeling exactly like that about the essay I'm writing. I felt really positive about it until today, and now I'm really fearing that it's rubbish for some reason, even though I'm working so hard on it is your feeling boy-related? I hope it all resolves itself soon :hugs:

No its placement related (3 of my friends got placement abroad, all of them have prior experience, know languages and play instruments and thus im stressing about the fact i have none of this, am crap and wont get a job next year. Not to mention i'd no idea what to do for placement and found out we get no monetary support with it despite being told if it was local we would = doubly crap.

JB, your boy is adorable! That was so sweet of him.

Went to see Project X tonight. Everyone who has seen it so far has loved it, I didn't like it very much. It's pretty much everything that I'm not into; drugs, alcohol, partying in general, so I can understand why I didn't like it. But I don't know, I feel so boring. I don't like a film that has every (or most people's) young person's dream in it; a huge party that just goes nuts. It makes me a little sad that I'm not like other people my age. I'd never go to alcohol or drugs or go wild or anything like that, but people (ie. society) make it out that you're just so boring if you're not into all that. *sigh*

Walking back to the car from having dinner with a friend and a lovely guy yelled in my face, "You're fat, not fit!"
Text Ben and his reply was useless and then I think he feel asleep afterwards because I heard nothing from him after that. Blah.
