What course to take?

So I'm doing my AS and A2 levels this year. AS in jan and A2 in july.
And am hoping to go university in the academic of 2013.
Im 18 at the moment.

I would like to become a therapist and I'm guessing a psychology course would do me right to join this career path.

Am I right in thinking this? If not what course?
If I'm right what do I do next in order to become a therapist?

What university should I go for?

Yes, Psychology is the right course if you want to be a therapist.

In order to actually become a therapist you would need to do a Psychology BSc degree accredited by the BPS and then following that you would need to do a post graduate degree (possibly two if you were required to do a masters course first).

In order to help you with picking universities you're going to have to do some research and tell us a bit about your academic acheivements.
