thats a massive move for you...i live in wiltshire, england..so London relatively close to where i am now ! have you looked around? its pretty nice!

yes hope to see you around...

Yes it's going to be quite a move! Great that you're so close, I expect you've spent quite a bit of time in the city then? No no, I've visited for a weekend here or there but otherwise I really have no idea haha. yes can't wait to meet everyone over there- sounds like manna ash was a good decision in terms of accomodation? aaand so you're studying photography? is that with saint martins, LCF or another uni?

Irrelevant post, but I'm doing my photography GCSE exam today... I have two ideas to make big can anyone think of a third? The theme is ordinary and/or extraordinary and mine focuses on natural world. Thanks

Has anyone who has put Edinburgh Napier as their film, heard anything from the university after your decision. i got a conditional offer cause i need to do IELTS but i'm not doing that until august, so i'm just thinking do they wait for that to send any information... i'd like to start making some plans for like flights and acommondation.
Hi there! I have firmed a conditional offer from Napier also but I haven't heard anything. I'm 99% sure that they wait until you meet your conditions before they send you information. I know that you can't apply for accommodation until they confirm that they have received your results. But they keep spaces in accommodation for those with conditionals.

The course begins on the 10th of September so I'm assuming that accommodation opens the week before.

I just declined my unconditional from LCC and confirmed my place at Middlesex. Honestly I don't think LCC has **** on Middlesex. Plus the photography lecturer seems awesome!
YES! Finally someone else who'll be there too! Same with me, declined LCC and chose Middlesex, it's weird, LCC was my first choice but once I actually saw it, especially in comparison to Middlsex... the studio was tiny!

I actually applied to LCC by accident lol, i clicked on the wrong college of the arts, i originally applied to Camberwell and that place is awful. But yeah i thought the studios were rubbish and there was only like 2? like wtf imagine how crammed they would get! but yeah I'm really looking forward to middlesex, where are you travelling from?

Hi, Sorry for hijacking this thread, but all you peeps with offers, what qualifications have you got/are you taking please? I would love to do photography degree next year but I`m a bit worried I won`t get an offer due to me doing a BTec in Interactive media at the mo. Have most of you done a course in Art?
    Thanks

I did A levels but not a subject to do with photography..

    Art - B
    ICT - C
    Product Design - D

I then went on to do an Art Foundation Course and I only need a Pass to get into the Uni of westminster (BA Photographic Arts). I think it all depends mainly on your portfolio! And I would highly recommend do a foundation because most uni's ask for them/prefer them

    Hope that helps,
    Holly

    AS Photography, then ND Photography.

I'm going to BCU to study Visual Communication thanks to UCAS extra, the course looks pretty good. Tutors have said it's normally pretty difficult to get onto and gets full pretty quickly so I'm surprised I've managed to get a place there. Anyone else studying there?

    Hi, Congrats on the unconditional!
Thanks for the advice. I have enrolled on an evening course , BTec level 2 photography for next year while I do my 2nd yr of my BTec in media. Was your Btec in photography level 2 or 3?

I did level 3 - just finishing it actually. Well worth doing gave me a grounding in lighting etc stuff that I had no clue about before.

http://www.ccb.ac.uk/public/courses/...t-12-4766.html Admittedly it is hard work to fit in all the work in a year.
