Healthcare Science?

I heard about a new degree which I THINK is called health care science. I emailed Southampton Uni asking for information about it a little while ago but never got a reply. Can anyone tell me about it? Things like what job prospects there are afterwards? Thankyou :biggrin:

As with other similar degrees like Health Studies, they isn't a defined route into a health care job, unlike vocational degrees such as nursing and allied health. If you want to go into one of the latter, then you will have to do the appropriate accredited degree. With a health care science degree, you could probably be a HCA, a hospital/health centre secretary or an allied health assistant.
