Bad movies you wish you had never watched

Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

    jarhead was f*****g painful.
who ever thought it was a good idea to make a film about people having nothing to do needs their head checking.

also wicker park was another one that i'm still bitter about having paid good money to see, and that was probably 8 or 9 years ago now.

Mission Impossible was probably the worst film I had to endure.

..... Come on, Tom Cruise was awful in it. And so unrealistic, worst portray of Espionage ever and it wasn't even good escapism.

oh right ok, i just though harry was holding on to him?

that bit isn't even in the book, they shouldn't have put it in
I know man, when I saw it I burst out laughing. I simply cannot imagine Voldemort allowing Harry to do that, also what is Harry hoping to achieve? Even if old Voldy can't fly in the film surely Harry doesn't think a fall is gonna kill him!?
So much disappointment, I actually burst into tears after seeing the first film because it was so bad, but then I was only 11 and Harry Potter was my life.

    :puke:

It's a shame too because 'Meet the Parents' was brilliant and 'Meet the fockers' was quite good. This one was awful though.

    Anything after Final destination 1.

Insidious (The 'devil' reminded me of the red creature off power puff girls.)

Epic movie or anything along those 'comedic' lines.

    Paranormal Activity.

    Cat woman.

    Mean girls 2.

Being dragged along to watch Ghost of a Girlfriends Past. Desperately un-funny and completely pointless.

V for Vendetta. What a pile of pretentious, pseudo-intellectual, cod-philosophical, incredibly obvious, preachy crap.
Agreed. Even worse when watching with someone who calls it 'Orwellian'.

The Collector, The Grudge (Japanese version - haven't seen the American remake but can only assume it would be even crappier), Lost In Translation (please don't try to tell me I 'didn't understand it' - I did, I just still hated it), Cabin Fever, Something Borrowed....these are the first that spring to mind!

Juno! It was so overhyped it was ridiculous. It wasn't remotely funny and oh my god the soundtrack...

And in the sea there is a fish,
A fish that has a secret wish,
A wish to be a big cactus
With a pink flower on it.

    wtf

My grandad downloads every film ever, all in bad quality, the majority of which are awful, but this one truly is the worst they've shown me. Cuba Gooding Jr is a hitman with a strange moral compass who helps a stranger in a bar "see to" the enemies in his life after a hypothetical situation.

Another Cuba Gooding Jr shocker. He's a reporter (cliché drinking problem and broken family) who gets caught up in a serial killer case when his girlfriend is brutally murdered. Trying to catch the killer he goes from one crime scene to the next tampering with evidence and hindering the police investigation, until he discovers that the murderer is in fact a little boy in an orphanage, who has come back in time to kill those he blames for his poor childhood.

The one that truly takes the biscuit. Looks like it's shot by amateurs and scripted by people who only watch daytime TV, Dougray Scott is a chef who lost his talent when his wife died in a car crash. After years of depression he buys the dream pub he was going to buy with his late wife and sets about turning it into a famous eatery, whilst at the same time falling in love with the American daughter of the town's local Lord of the manor. It burnt my eyes it was that bad. Features a cameo from Gordon Ramsey, and only made £121 in it's opening weekend!

From what I read though it was a spell. (You have to have your wand on you at least.) Nothing was really mentioned saying Voldermort couldn't be caught off guard and fall. xD

It doesn't make you cool if you claim to dislike Tarantino films, it just makes you look retarded.

New Moon is possibly the most boring, over-hyped film I've ever endured.

Pretty much most films released these days are SH*T

    Best film 2011 is "Senna"
But not many people will have heard or even payed respect to a great film & man.

Films have to much time spent on special FX & all the b*ll****...
    Crappy trailers which people like?

    Originality is dead.

Why couldn't they just leave terminator at terminator 2? or make a good 3

    The modern terminators suck ass
So do all modern movie stars
    GAH
    wtf has happened to film?

The new sacha bohen cohen film "the Dicatator" looks good mind you.

http://www.old-wizard.com/top-10-pro...-modern-movies - sums my thoughts up.

The Harry Potter films, straight out were awful, nothing like the books in anyway, the acting of was disgraceful (just watch Emmas Watson's eyebrows though out the films, it is hilarious) me and my friends only watch them to laugh and insult them, it upsets me so much to see the books mascaraed that way, breaks my heart so I have to laugh though the pain. The portrayal of Dumbledore in the forth film is the worst, he is just so angry all the time, it's ridiculous. He would never ever grab, shake and shout at Harry (In the fifth book he gets very angry at Umbridge for doing that to Marietta!). I refuse to see the last one because the trailer upset me so much, I mean come on AS IF Harry is gonna call Voldemort Tom!? Or Voldemort is gonna be crawling on the floor or let Harry hug him and jump off Hogwarts!? I mean he can fly for ****s sake!?

Anyhow, I wish I could erase The Hills Have Eyes from my head .
I might be wrong but I swear Harry does call Voldemort 'Tom' in the book.
