Which unis can I commute to from Birmingham?
Long story cut short I've decided to definately stay in Birmingham when going to Uni, so my question is: Realistically, which unis should I apply to for History & Politics, keeping in mind I am staying in Brum?

PS: I won't be driving & already thinking Warwick & Birmingham.

Birmingham uni. You won't want to travel to Warwick for 3 years. Also, you'll miss out on soooo much if you're going to commute to uni, i'd strongly advise against it, but hey your decision.

Leicester is also an option if you go by train.

Apart from all the Birmingham unis plus Warwick - Coventry, Leicester, DMU, Northampton, Wolverhampton - I'm sure there might be a few more

    Hi everyone!

Coventry University is only 20 minutes on the train from Birmingham New Street, not far at all!

Aston, The University of Birmingham, Birmingham City, Warwick, Coventry, Wolverhampton... I think anything else might be a bit of a stretch, though that depends entirely on how much of your time you are willing to commit to commuting.

I'd also seriously recommend driving (provided you can) or at least considering it as an alternative mode of transport, unless you've a damn good public transport network near you... I used to have nothing but trouble with the trains commuting in to Birmingham New Street from Dudley.

I commute to Worcester from Wolverhampton 3 times a week. But other than that, Aston, B'ham City, B'ham Un, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, Warick.
