if you're looking at little uncomfortable boxes, why not just get a 2 seat roadster?

Hiii
I still havent got a car :colondollar:
I really need to get one this week though, I've seen these three:
Peugeot 206 Insurance is around £1100
Peugeot 206 Insurance is around £950
Yaris Insurance is around £900

Thanks!

The Yaris is a way better car than the 206. Get a mechanic to give it a once over prior to handing any money over. Oh yeah I'd probably haggle it down to £1500 or so.

had a 2004 VVTI 1.5 sport model, did about 32 MPG and only has 33 litres of fuel so.... expensive.

Golf now does about 50-60 MPG!

Ah ok. It says on the Auto Trader thing, that that Yaris does about 65mpg, do you think that's correct?

I hate buying cars! I really don't want to waste my money :frown:

Depends on which engine... not every model will give the same FC.

That's a distance for uni... I don't miss such long commutes.... on my last year of uni I commuted from Aberystwyth to Birmingham for work. 120 miles each way. I should have bought a diesel car for that commute.

What version of the Golf TDI did you get?

2005 TDI 2L GT 140BHP but were getting it remapped to 170. I love it so much D: bit heavy on the insurance though
