solving an equation!

This equation is quite simple and i dont have a clue why im doing it wrong
its
2t-10=-t-1
so i added t
3t-10=-1
added one
3t=-9
so
t=-3

but the answer is three so what have i done wrong?
i bet its something really obvious

it shouldn't be -9 but 9 in the penultimate line.

(y^-3/4)^-4/3 (i thought -3/4 x -4/3 would give 1 ) = 27^-4/3
so y = cubed root 27 = 3
then 3^-4
=1/81
but the answer is 1/64?

y^3=(1/27)^4

y=sqrt3(((1/27)^4))

y=1/81
