    nah not yet, they asked me to fill in some forms so that's a good sign, but not sure whether it means an offer... lol

    Applied around the 5th of October I think? Sometime before the 15th anyway. I know other people who have applied for CH in Arts and none of them have heard back yet so I wouldn't worry

    Conditional + conditional grades /Unconditional: Conditional offer, upon obtaining a HSC (NSW, Australia) aggregate of 380 or more, including Modern History and History Extension at 380%
    College: I chose Castle, but still awaiting college offer
    Firm/Insurance/Withdrawing offer?: Still waiting to hear back from another, but most likely firming

    Anyone else from Australia?

    Congrats! International too I just got an offer for natural science conditional on 1 AP at grade 5 (I took 3 last year).

    Congratulations Mine is for deferred, so for 2013. I Still have to go through all of my final year :/ but it will all be worth it in the end

    Yea I would say so..I talked to one teacher who did history there and he loved it and also couple of friends is there already so yea...defo my firm! Im just waiting to hear from my college cuz i think il visit it in march.

    I hope ul hear from them !! If u do, is it ur firm too??

    I was right - it sounds like it was GCSEs and extra-curriculars:

    In your case, your academic profile was not as strong as those of many other applicants and your personal statement did not demonstrate the criteria we look for to the same extent as those of the best applicants.

    I'm not sure, that seems like a pretty generic response :/ they wouldn't want to mention your reference because you could go sick at whoever wrote yours. Don't let it get you down though

    I have a slightly easier offer from my first choice so I'm not massively upset Just waiting on St Andrews now.

    :yeah: definitely my firm! Haven't visited yet, but my friend's sister goes and she loves it. People just generally have nice things to say about Durham, like how it's really welcoming and stuff. Which college did you apply too?

    makes me feel a bit better about not hearing from my college (university). It looks like it takes them a loooong time.

    I havent been there neither. In fact, I didnt go to see any of my choices haha..cba at that time
    Jo Butler, still havent heard from them...duno if i would survive on 3 meals a day haha so I had to apply for self-catered.

    You heard back from castle quickly!! I got my offer mid December and hvnt heard back

    I wouldn't stress too much - I also got my offer mid-december (the 11th or something like that) and literally just heard from Castle today. Your letter could well be in the post
