Congrats to all those who have offers! Is there a table to update for Durham? (Like for Oxford/Cambridge?)

I'm an American Applicant, and I got a conditional for history.
I applied to St John's and the waiting is going to kill me.

I'm absolutely thrilled as this was my favorite uni by far. I can't wait to visit in February.

I'm dying to know where I'll be, I was wanting the Castle, but its seriously popular. Its a beautiful uni, and the people are really friendly.

American applicant: SAT and APs
Offer Date: last week sometime
Course Title: Classics
Conditional + conditional grades /Unconditional: Unconditional

Firm/Insurance/Withdrawing offer?: I'm not sure yet, still waiting to hear back from my four other choices.

Does anyone know how long it will take for Durham to contact me about my college allocation? Or how college allocation works?

I have been rejected. :/ I suspect that GCSEs play a larger role than the university claims - or maybe it was this idea that Durham are actually quite keen on 'EC's. Oh well - I guess this will just make my Cambridge offer taste that much sweeter >.>

EDIT: I think the >.> makes it pretty clear I'm joking.

Congratulations! That's a nice, low offer as well!

When did you send off your UCAS? And are you a home or international student?

Edit: Why the neg? Seriously, TSRians these days are unreal.

Thanks! I sent it off around Oct 10. I'm international, from Hong Kong.
You? Did you also apply for Law?

Yes, I applied the following day, but am a home student (and also technically mature, in that it'll be my second degree). I wonder if my application will be looked at soon, or if it'll be different as you're overseas, or different again as I'm mature.

So annoying waiting! Could do with at least one offer before Christmas :frown:

What was your first degree and at which uni?
