Keele facilities?

Hi I know with Keele being a campus uni there are many amenities on site but what are the leisure facilites like? Im hoping there is a pool or gym if not wheres the nearest one?

The leisure centre is quite large...it has a climbing wall, 2 large sports halls, and 2 small ones. I've heard there is a gym, but i have yet to pay it a visit. There are squash courts and a massive outdoor playing field also. There is no pool, although we have a swin team :confused: ....there must be one close by.

Im a member of the fencing club, and being a member of the AU means that you get into balls and stuff, and its something to put on your CV i guess. It's also a great way to make friends :smile:

There's a pool not far away from campus that the swimming team uses. The other sports facilities are good though (not that I ever set foot in the gym in my whole time there, but I heard good things about it!)
