Dip in Second Year results. Should I be scared or merely unconcerned.

Hi. I saw a recent dip in my results during my second year (67% to 66%). I am now going into my third year. Firsts were not uncommon last year, but they were all 70's and my grade got dragged down by a group project which received a 2:2. I wondered how concerned I should be and how normal this decline in grades is.

1% really isn't very significant, and like you said a group project brought you down. Assuming your first year isn't weighted, and your second year is weighted at 1/3 and your third at 2/3, then getting 72% in your next year will leave you with a first overall, it's not out of reach. Honestly you're fine

It's been a while since you posted and nobody's replied yet...maybe you should check out Coursework.Info, TSR's sister site. It has the largest library of essays in the UK.

They've got over 181,000+ coursework, essays, homeworks etc.. all written by GCSE, A Level, University and IB students across all topics. You get access either by publishing some of your own work, or paying £4.99 for a month's access. Both ways give you unlimited access to all of the essays.

All their documents are submitted to Turnitin anti-plagiarism software, so it can't be misused, and the site's used by hundreds of thousands of UK teachers and students.

What's more, you can take a look around the site and preview the work absolutely free. Click here to find out more...

Thanks, but I want to put my own ideas across in my work and have friends to proofread.
