That's fab! All the best with yours too!
Less than a week now, sooo nervous!!
My subject spec. will be English
I've applied to Greenwich too!
Interview on the 30th November!
Have you heard back off them yet?
I've applied for Primary Education this year too... although i'm deferring entry!
I've applied to St. Mary's , Leeds Met, Kingston, Chester and Middlesex.
St Mary's is my favourite and have an interview there on the 14th December.
Have an interview at Kingston on the 23rd November - Wednesday! Anyone else at these dates!?
Chester have asked for my work experience record and had an email from Leeds Met saying their offers/interviews have been delayed!
Very excited for interviews, had a mock one today in school and seemed to go well!
Bring it on .. and good luck to everyone applying!!

No, I haven't heard from Greenwich yet. I reckon they have to get my qualifications certified by NARIC as I got them in Germany. Middlesex only asked for a copy of my qualifications and, unfortunately, I haven't heard from St. Mary's at all.:frown:

Do you know what Kingston will ask you to do on your interview day? I've heard you have to do a Maths and English test (at GCSE level) as well as a group activity. And the interview of course. I'm getting nervous, too, even though my interview day is still two weeks away... :s-smilie:

Where did you get your school experience?

apparently the tests are at a basic level  my friend is on the course and went through the same process. I'll be able to let you know after Wednesday though - ahh!

The tests will be anything upto GCSE level as that is the basic subject knowledge that the university expect us to have in the core subjects that you will eventually be teaching!

Hiya,

well, I'm kinda nervous but also getting excited about the interview. I definitely want to use time efficently to prepare myself in the best way. Kingston is my first choice, so I don't want to chance it!! ^^ Have you had any other interviews so far? I'll have my interview at Greenwich on 18th January - quite late but St. Mary's declinded my application!! =( Was a bit disappointed, especially, as they haven't told me any reason why. Have you heard from Greenwich or St. Mary's?

We can meet on Wed, 7th Dec at Kingston university if want?! It makes it easier if you already know someone.

What was your interview at Kingston like??

Hi there. I know this post wasn't for me, but i thought i'd comment!
I had my interview at Kingston the other week (wednesday 23rd nov.) and i got a letter informing me that i'd been offered a place Monday just gone, woo!!

Which i accepted!
The interview process isnt too scary at Kingston to be honest.
Split into two groups & taken to do Maths, English and problem solving tests.
Maths is 20 multiples choice questions, up to GCSE level so nothing too tricky
English is a childs work and you have to write about what they did well & what they didnt do so well & how they can improve etc
And problem solving is working in teams etc!
Then you have your individual interview, which i really thought i'd flunked, but obviously not!
Good luck!!
