Accountancy Work Experience - Call or Write a Letter?
I'm looking to get some accountancy work experience and just wanted to know the most effective way of going about it? Is it better to write a speculative letter or should i call?

    Thankyou

Calling would be easier, and I don't think they'll mind which one you do. Call if you can.

From experience, call first, then they will probably ask you to write a letter. But if a phone-call will suffice, be sure to have any details handy at the time.

A call means they have to give you a response, even though it could be a 'thank you but no'.
A letter they could just throw in the bin.
