Exam clashes?

Hello,

I want to do two 60 point OU courses, one is level 1 and the other is level 2, they don't advise taking both together but it's the only way I will be able to fit it in. I don't know if one of the reasons they don't advise it is because there is a possibility that the exams for both courses are at the exact same time.

Has anyone ever had a problem like this before with the OU, and what did you do about it?

Thanks

Which courses? Sometimes they like you to study one course and take that learning to the other.

If there is a strong reason you can't attend an exam (illness, work duties etc) an exam gets deferred (you do it for the first time in the resit period). I'd think that would apply here too.

I think they advise you against this because they like you to do level 1 before 2, but that is such a general bit of advice, if you feel you've got the skills to deal with it, go for it!
You can do both if you want. I would recommend splitting them out over two start dates ie. oct and feb.
Thanks for the help everyone
