    Wow that's epic!

How about instead of making eye mask using makeup/face paint?
That's what I decided to do first, but I'm worried I'll touch my face/scratch my eye or something. I'm so useless with wearing face paint!

I'm shocked too at the price of nurses hats. I suppose I could make it out of paper

If you pack your facepaint with you, you can touch up during the night!

I'm gonna have to take makeup with me as THIS is the makeup I'm doing.

Probably a good idea, cheaper than making it too. Haha that looks great!

I'm going to a fancy dress party soon, where we have to dress as something beginning with 'S'. I'm going as Snow White, in this exact dress: http://www.joke.co.uk/adult-fever-fa...1296/?ref=base

The only thing is, I don't know what to wear on my legs? White stockings look awful on anyone pale (me) and over a size 6 (me). Also, as I'm 5'11 already, I don't really want to wear heels! But at the same time I don't want to be too 'frumpy'. Any ideas?

Red ballet pumps and white ankle socks? White stockings generally look bad on everyone :yep:

I've finally decided what I'm going dressed as:

http://www.google.com/imgres?q=old+g...KxezGDw&zoom=1 Old Gregg from the Mighty Boosh.

I have a purple tutu so dunno if I'm going to buy a pink one, I have a green wig and sticking bits of tinsel, crepe paper on it to look more weedy, and I need to spray paint a black jacket silver-which may well be a disaster.

Oh and of course I must only be drinking Baileys.

Do you like Baileys? I like Baileys. Do you wanna drink Baileys from a shoe?

    :mmm:

Oh and I have to remember to bring a torch so I can show everyone my Mangina.

Sounds good, spray painting shouldn't go too wrong, although you could always just go for tin foil...

How could I forget about tin foil!? Amazing. I'm going to have fun with glue and spray this evening.

Tin foil is my go to item for everything :yep: for a "anything but clothes" party I made a skirt out of tin foil and bubble wrap, was EPIC!

You sound like a costume veteran . I'm crap at this usually but I thought I'd got for it this year, being a witch seemed a lil boring. (no offence to anyone doing that but I've done it three times already. )

I am using tin foil for my bf's costume. He's going to be the Hitcher in the Mighty Boosh and he needs a staff..tin foil + broken hiking pole=win.

I don't mind spending all day doing it (with a friends help even!) as long as it doesn't leave me skint...

I might have a minor fancy dress addiction I'll upload pics of me as pikachu when I'm in full costume :ahee:
I made a snow white costume from scratch last year, I just wish I had my sewing machine up in Glasgow with me, life would be so much easier!

I'm just worried about my tail getting ripped off...I think I would cry!

Ha ha I'm not the world's best sewer, but good enough to sew together a costume. I think my pride and joy costume wise was Xena Warrior Princess with skirt made of out belts sewn together, top made out of papier mache and shield from papier mache too...I just wish more pictures had been taken...this is the only one which shows it full length

    Spoiler:
