Is kent nice then?, Im not sure about kent it just sounds boring but they keep sending me shiny applicant booklets which is making me consider

did you apply for a year in industry? and where did you apply? my choices were kent keele uea liverpool and plymouth
Kent has a lovely campus and the City town itself is really nice too. Although, I have my offer from Kent already and I didn't realise they accepted general studies so i'm not really sure how well they compare to my other choices anymore because I was under the impression all the good universities did not accept GS.

Its between Kent and UEA for the firm I think Its a lovely campus, similar to UEA tbh but with slightly less concrete, and I thought the accomodation was nicer (though more expensive - goodbye ensuite). The course sounds good - and more respected than UEA.

I went for Heriot Watt, Kent, UEA, Southampton (with Maths) and City (foundation but they moved me to the higher course). I really want a year in industry, but if Kent/UEA give me the same offer I'll insure with Heriot Watt.

I chose my courses based on exemptions and year out...hence why I disragrded Keele and Liverpool
Im well nervous about this interview!, i dont know why usually im so chill about being interviewed but its just because I really want to go to UEA and i need an offer of ABB

what tips did that open day guy give you?

Predicted 4A's at A-level . . have pretty good extracurricular activities. . .grade 8 violin etc.

applied to QUB, City, Manchester and HW.

really would love to go to Queens or City, does anyone think I have any chance of getting an offer? Or would I need the A* predicition in maths for City?

    Any help would be appreciated

I reckon City would give you the offer (however I found out last week that my maths prediction was raised without me being told, after I spent months arguing about it ) so maybe that did affect me getting an offer.

Yeah got an offer from City y'day . Our school is stubborn and don't like to predict A*'s . . I'm pretty sure I can get one though if i work at it. Waiting patiently for QUB. at the same time not getting an offer from there would make my decision alot easier lol

That's how I felt with UEA  And the maths department at my school told me they wouldn't predict me one cos of my GCSE result...but then predicted it on UCAS. However one I was told would be raised wasn't  Oh well, can't complain as they did the job!

    Where are you firming?

Have you visited both? I'd go for the one which had the nicest feel. Have you applied for the year in industry - I think that is really benefical. But at the end of the day its your decision.
