"You will receive your first payment(s) within 3 to 4 working days of your attendance being confirmed to us by your university or college." I finally got this message on my student finance page after sending declaration to agree with terms and conditions... and I will be getting loan, grant and tuition fees...

It'll depend on how efficient your university is at informing SF of your attendance, and how organised SF are at releasing your first payment.
