Not ate, but I HAD to buy a multipack of these "Shot-Size" Pepsi Max cans after I spied them in Sainsburys. And as always, Pepsi Max gets a resounding 9/10 from me!!

Just enough cola for a decent drink, but causes craploads of unnecessary packaging waste. But HOT DAMN is it cute!! -
Re: Food and Drink: Time to Rate, the Last Thing Ye Ate!Haha I got roped into buying Pepsi Max earlier too, but they were BOGOF 1L bottles from Tescos(Original post by TotoMimo)

10/10 to my pepsi max.
I also ate a strawberry cheesecake dessert pot from Tescos which was scrummy, 9/10

Re: Food and Drink: Time to Rate, the Last Thing Ye Ate!
A yummy way to close the evening, is a nice piece of Pumpkin Pie and a cup of coffee.
Pumpkin Pie; 9/10. While the pie is very good (especially with whipped cream and cinnamon), I bought it at the grocer so its a perfect pie but I always thought my mother used to make them better because we could have some when it was still warm from baking.
Coffee; 10/10. The coffee was made from Starbucks Italian roast coffee (and I really only would give coffee drinks from there about a 5) but I feel lt gets a 10 because it was home made, I was able to make it a custom flavor of pumpkin and chocolate, and is there any price sweeter than free?

Re: Food and Drink: Time to Rate, the Last Thing Ye Ate!
M&S Steak Pizza (I can't remember the exact name) alongside a garlic and herb dip - 7.8/10
The crust was top notch, the ingreidients were fine especially the steak, but I don't think slices of steak meat go well on a pizza. The garlic and herb dip enchaned the meal as always. -
Re: Food and Drink: Time to Rate, the Last Thing Ye Ate!
Just had a Cadbury Magical Elf.
I love these as I always have done and always get angry when the three month seasonal period they're available is over!
Popping Candy? Good. Cadbury Chocolate? Good. Little cute character? Good. 14g size? I AM WEEP.
Still, even if there's not much to it, it still deserves a mahoosive 8/10. -
Re: Food and Drink: Time to Rate, the Last Thing Ye Ate!Putting bread in the fridge makes it go stale faster!(Original post by siani-chan)
...yes? Always have, my parents did too...?
I don't see anything wrong with it. My housemates who buy bread do too, and my friends at home... I know that's what bread bins are for but we've never owned one, so.
The thing is that when bread goes stale, it doesn't so much go stale via chemical reactions as many foods do, but rather via something physical that happens to starch. Starch tends to crystallize at cool temperatures, and this process, sometimes called "retrogradation," happens about six times faster at refrigerator temperatures than at room temperature. Loss of water also speeds up this process, so you want to keep bread in a container that stops moisture from escaping.
I feel clever! hahaha

Re: Food and Drink: Time to Rate, the Last Thing Ye Ate!oh, had someone else said this? Sorry.(Original post by TotoMimo)
That's another person telling us about bread going stale in the fridge faster!
But the thing is... we all know it because...
We all watch Big Bang Theory :P
but thank you! I was wondering where I had picked up that pointless knowledge up from! haha

10/10 to my pepsi max.
