Re-takes within the normal 2-year A-Level duration is perfectly acceptable. However, I'm not sure about what they think about re-takes taken outside of that 2-year period.

I went to the kings website and it says that they want BBB-AAA.
I'm a bit confused now...They say that they compare your schools average a level grade to the national one...But how come students here say they got offers and interviews with AAB or ABB? Do they mean you can have any grade between BBB and AAA? And doesnt that mean that the entry requirements for every school is different? Please help me.

Hey.

Basically, the criteria for the 2012 entry is different to that of the 2013 entry. For the 2012 entry, you could be made an offer of anything between AAA and CCC, I believe. What the offer would be would depend upon your school's average grades.

For the 2013 entry, I'm not entirely sure, but I'm pretty confident that it's:

The offer that you would be made would be either AAA or BBB. Nothing in between like AAB or ABB, etc.
If your school's average grades are below the national average grades, then you'd be made an offer of BBB. If your school's average grades are above the national average grades, then you'd be made an offer of AAA.

How much free time do you have in the first year ? What's roughly the routine like ? The schedule ?

Also, how hard have you found the EMDP course to be so far ? Huge step up from A-Levels, or a slighter one compared with those during the 5-year course ?

That really sucks...cuz I think my schools average is above the national one That would mean that if I get AAB there is no chance for me
I was so happy to read that students got BBC offers for this! Why did they have to change it? why? What should your UKCAT score be? I understand they dont have a cut off..but offer holders can you please provide me with this information? Im going through a crisis at the moment

Hey guys, I needed some advice. Basically i've applied for 2013 entry but I needed to ask you 2012'ers about the work experience form. When did you recieve the form, was it when you got an ivitiation for interview? Did you have to fill in what was mentioned on your ps, or could you write stuff in the form that you hadn't written about in you ps. I'm asking this, as i'm arranging some work experience around nov/december time. Is it worth it? Than you!
