Re: worst teacher you had at school/collegealright.(Original post by whattheheck)
Not exactly a teacher but I hated the school nurse. When I was in year 7 I went to her with an upset tummy. She didn't believe me but called my Dad to pick me up anyway. While I was waiting in reception, I ended up throwing up in the entrance foyer. -
Re: worst teacher you had at school/college
I had an awful physics teacher in Year 10. He couldn't control the class, and he taught us the wrong syllabus... that is, if we were being taught!
Most of the time, we had to watch Brainiac or watch a film about nuclear radiation crisis. If we were being 'taught', all we did was copy out of textbooks, and if you asked a question about anything, even a question about physics, we were told to be quiet. We did no practical work at all. The class average was an E or low D, and he said it was because we weren't working hard enough. I had two A's in P1a and P1b, both two marks off an A*, and he took all the credit, when in actual fact, I'd self-taught myself the entire syllabus and asked for help from my chemistry teacher. He left at the end of Year 10, and our chemistry teacher taught us physics in Year 11, instead.

Re: worst teacher you had at school/college
My year nine chemistry teacher was terrible.
Once he was going through a powerpoint with us, when he finished going through it he minimized it, he had porn behind the powerpoint, lol.
He also wanted to show us a reaction, he made us all go towards the back of the class and he put a glass sheet infront of the container to protect us. He dropped the chemical in the water and ran away, he ran into the bin and tripped over it and fell into the door. The chemical didn't do anything either, it just fizzed a little.
The same teacher caused a fire, he did something to the projector during lunchtime which caused it to burn, a lot of people, me included, were in the canteen and had eaten about half of our food so we had to abandon our food, some people took chips and stuff outside.
Good times. -

Re: worst teacher you had at school/college
Mrs. Davies, Chemistry. No chemistry degree, english as a second language, very strong accent, heavily dyslexic. Also a rubbish teacher.
Mr. Heath, English and Head of VI Form. The most hilariously appalling VI Form policies including refusing to disclose predicted A-level grades to VI formers, meaning that they had no indication as to whether their university choices were in any way informed.
Ms. Protasiuk, History. Unreformed socialist. Every topic and lesson was an exercise in Marxist propaganda.
Ms. Roberts, Biology. Had no concept of teaching, went through most of an A-level course by dictating her own A-level notes. On a school trip, a teacher from another school complained about her to the head of science, erroneously believing her to be a "badly behaved VI Former".
Ms. Haworth, Biology. Left the school mid-term to take up a better job at a girls' grammar school down the road. During the middle of an A-level course. Thanks for that.
Mr. Richards, History. For being a total fool and spending more time talking about his DJing career than doing anything of any importance.
Ms. Bird, Geography. For having breasts so large that they had their own gravity equivalent to a large asteroid, making lessons difficult. People still talk of the time she took part in the 100m race on sports day.
Mr. Lloyd, Headteacher. For being Tony Blair's spiritual predecessor, presiding over the dramatic decline of an entire school, including at least three serious sex scandals, and also introducing an unprecedented level of political correctness to local education including school policies of "a black person is incapable of racism" "All allegations of racism against a white pupil are to be believed at face value" and "Christmas Carol concerts should not contain religious elements"Last edited by Clip; 04-04-2012 at 22:26. -

Re: worst teacher you had at school/college
Well my ICT teacher... I get soo ANGRY when I think about her

1) She lost my coursework! It is a friking 60% of my whole GCSE!! She took her the whole year to finish teaching us what is needed for the stupid coursework! And did the exam with no knowledge...
2) Complete lack of control of the class. Our lessons were like the London Riots with complete honesty!
I can go on and on for ages just speaking about her, but it's making me feel sick! -
Re: worst teacher you had at school/college
Through my entire Physics A-level my one teacher would just tell jokes and shoot people with rubbers fired from his catapult. The other teacher got things wrong, constantly.
I learnt the entire A-level from the textbook, thank heavens for AQA having quality books... O.o
