I can't believe everyone is conforming! Someone has died helloo you're not suppose to be mocking him-thats so mean. And then you wonder why the nazi's followed the orders of hitler...

How is making jokes about him conforming? Most people are sad about his death. I would be conforming if I said I was deeply upset about his death (It's obviously sad that he died, but I don't think it is world changing).

Surely the Betrothal was at 9 and the marriage much later?

I have never called him a paedophile, I have pointed out that he married 9 year old Aisha. That is not making a sick joke it is referring to a statement of fact. Two very different things

You have called the 'prophet' muhammad a peadophile many times.

I can't believe you guys are bringing up Muhammad in a Steve Jobs thread.

it's not world changing that he invented the apple and is somewhat a billionaire? Thats not world changing. Its not world changing that he donated alot of that money towards charity. Thats not world changing? But thats just bad... Someone making jokes about someones death. Cos if someone did about me, i'd make sure i come out the grave and kick sht out that person who mocked me.

Agreed

It's not really relevant nor is it appropriate, I was merely refuting this claim in the hope the topic will die.

RIP Jobs.

"Steve Jobs' funeral will be held next week, after which he will be reburied every six months in a slightly better coffin"

I sniggered.

To be honest that's such a **** joke !

Don't find it humourous in any way.

The only one I found humerous in this thread was this :
They say your life flashes before your eyes just before you die.
Unfortunately for Steve Jobs, he hadn't got a Flash player installed.

Do you find making friends as hard as spelling? There is no need to be so dammed rude.

If you don't like a joke, fair play. But move on don't give someone else abuse because they enjoy a joke someone else has made.

Yeah, maybe in Somalia. Most people under 30 in the UK will know who he is.

Most people didn't know he died might be more accurate.

Why make a joke about Steve Jobs? :s-smilie:

Some people weren't brought up well.

Others live such sad and boring lives such that the only way they can entertain themselves is to laugh at the expense of others.

Thank God I don't fall into any of those two groups.

Lighten up. Humor is a way of dealing with the tragic. When my younger brother died a few years ago I found jokes (and lots of whisky) very therapeutic. You have to laugh in the face of death.

So you wouldn't mind me making a joke about your dead brother?

Okay then, here goes:

What does my sexual partner and your brother have in common?

Trick question, they are the same person

No, the guy I was quoting said his brother died a few years ago and he said he made a joke about it. So I was also making a joke about his brother.

Surely it's fine so long as the guy's not the butt of the jokes

The jokes on here are still respectful and at least connected to the man.
