Rejected
That's really ****ty man.

Re: The "I've applied to Edinburgh for 2012 entry" chat threadThat's totally understandable. I know that probably doesn't make you feel any better.(Original post by Shomberlon)
I'm really angry that theyade me wait all this time for a rejection -
Re: The "I've applied to Edinburgh for 2012 entry" chat thread
Five months after sending in my application.... I am finally, rejected. Oh well it was expected but still very annoying to have had to wait so long. If there really was no realistic chance of people with grades below XYZ getting a place then it would have been better for Edinburgh just to say so instead of dragging the whole process out.

Re: The "I've applied to Edinburgh for 2012 entry" chat threadI am, and yeah, I think so(Original post by jonnyjwalker)
Is anyone still waiting for a reply ? Can they still let us know tomorrow? -
Re: The "I've applied to Edinburgh for 2012 entry" chat threadI've just received an AAA offer even though I had BCCD (and D or E) at AS level. It means that either people with poor grades have chance or that I'm very lucky.(Original post by Emliy)

Anyway, they waited so long I've changed my mind and won't be going there. -

I applied for politics and have AABBB at higher all ready.
It's a shame they've put you off by taking so long but of course that's your choice and entirely understandable

Re: The "I've applied to Edinburgh for 2012 entry" chat thread
I have an unconditional for Aberdeen - Politics and IR so I'm going to firmly accept that. I really liked Aberdeen when I visited and the course was great, people I've spoken to say it's a great choice so I'm not that cut up about being rejected from Edinburgh.

Hey! I've got an unconditional for that course too, so I'll probably see you there as I'm expecting my rejection tomorrow.(Original post by Emliy)

Re: The "I've applied to Edinburgh for 2012 entry" chat threadI'm applying for politics. Perhaps the school's leaving final decisions until tomorrow.(Original post by beamie)

Or the school doesn't have the same manners as others. Who knows. -
Re: The "I've applied to Edinburgh for 2012 entry" chat threadYeah, it seems to be that way now we've all revealed what we're applying for. I guess we just have to see what happens tomorrow and hope for a miracle. Have you got other offers?(Original post by tommy1311)
