Girlfriend/wife/partner finds your friend to be her nemesis.
What is the guy supposed to do in such a situation?

Have you asked her why she has a problem with them? It must be something that triggered it off....unless it's just jealousy.

Jealousy mostly.
Also some elements of perceived rudeness to it though reality to it is the friend doesn't speak good English so she chooses to speak to me in German which the other have no understanding of.
