Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

Guy I like etc. Intimidated by his other friends?

So, there's a guy I really like on one of my classes, I've only sat next to him for a couple of weeks but he seems really nice but quite shy (like me). Anyway, I've never had any experience of this kind of 'thing' ( :tongue:

), but what worries me, even though it sounds weird, is his friends. That's not to say I am scared of them specifically, but just the fact that he talks to me in class because neither of us know anyone else there, but I don't know how to - as it were - 'step up' from being just someone to talk to in class, to an actual friend out of class. I've seen him around college a couple of times with a small-ish group of people, and I just feel like I couldn't possibly compete for his.. attention? With those people he already knows. Advice anyone? Further info - we are facebook friends, and I don't have his number :tongue:
