I'd have to say Muse. Honestly. Whenever you voice your disliking of the band to a fan they always say something like "Well you just haven't heard their B-sides, their B-sides are brilliant!"

And then when you tell them you have heard their B-sides and they suck too they get all enraged and act like 14 year olds.

Radiohead's fanbase is pretty bad too which is a shame really because Radiohead are capable of making decent music every now and then.

Anyway, your opinions? What band or artist has the worst fanbase?

The CoR's of the Manic Street Preachers fanbase who think that Richey is some kind of God and is right about absolutely everything. Nobody THAT negative should be an "inspiration," it's not healthy.

I generally think all those sort of bands have pretty bad fanbases but then again, it's the same thing with the Slipknot thing.

What does CoR mean?

I know what you mean though. I used to quite like this band and went to a fair few gigs and you always got the feather boa and eyeliner wearing brigade who pretty much looked down on people like me who loved the first few albums but preferred to wear plain jeans and a t-shirt and enjoy the lyrics with a certain sense of detachment.

I mean, I even liked a lot of the darker lyrics, for example, on the Holy Bible but Richey was a diagnosed manic depressive who eventually killed himself (sorry die hard Manics fans but even his family have come to terms with this as the most likely explanation and have registered him as dead) so I can't relate to everything he wrote although I can acknowledge that he was a good writer.

Not a band, but a genre, but I've found a large quantity of dubstep fans to be quite pretentious. I've lost count of the amount of times I've been called a poser or been told I've just jumped on a bandwagon because I listen to artists not named Joker/Burial/Skream.

Muse fans always spout 'BUT THEY'RE CLASSICALLY TRAINED!!!!!!' at me as if it's the most important information they could give anyone.

For me it has to be the One Direction/that other boy band that are like them but I can't remember their name...
