Re: University of Hertfordshire applicants 2012We'll be fine I'm sure(Original post by c9dartfinish)
I'm studying English Language, Spanish and History (obviously you already know I did maths for AS). Hopefully it all goes well and we get the grades we need. If not we're obviously too thick for university and should do somehing else!
Slightly off topic but I accepted your friend request

If so, what do we put as our "Application Number" on the criminal record letter? -

Re: University of Hertfordshire applicants 2012i haven't even received an acknowledgement yet!! how long after you applied did you get it?(Original post by goggy)
I've gotten an acknowledgement from them but that's it. I'm getting nervous... I want to get an offer from here, darn it (though I won't say no to an offer from Warwick that I have a 1/1000000 chance of getting
).

Re: University of Hertfordshire applicants 2012Cheers, I've applied for Mass Communications, this was my ideal first choice so I'm glad they've offered me a place. Hmm as far as I know quite a few schools/colleges (at least in my area) had a deadline for applications over the last 2-3 weeks, so I think it'll be a bit longer just because of the large number of applications waiting to be approved. My UCAS was sent to the University just under 2 weeks ago and they got back to me yesterday, so it was quite quick tbh.(Original post by gapyearstudent)
congrats!
what are you studying? i applied on monday, i'm not expecting a reply anytime soon but how long did it take them to get back to you??
As I stated above they're probably swamped with applications now but you get an e-mail from them as soon as they begin looking at yours. I got that email yesterday morning and my offer showed up on UCAS towards the end of the day, so I guess when you get that confirmation email you'll know the decision soon enough. Good luck(Original post by LastHype)
First post updated, hopefully i put everything down correct!
Sure wish Herts would reply to my application though
Good luck with your interviews everyone!

Re: University of Hertfordshire applicants 2012Hey! I wouldn't worry too much about you being 20 points off, I know that they are quite lenient if you are off by 20 points or so. I would suggest that you should ring their admissions dept and just ask. I'm a first year there and I know people who were 40-60 points off the the unis entry requirement and they still got accepted.(Original post by Ellieh93)
I'll be applying but already have my A level grades, however they just increased the entry requirements by 40 UCAS points for Education Studies but are happy to acccept all qualifications from the UCAS tariff and those from "Non traditional routes". Does anyone know if this means that they will accept my grade B in AS general studies? I'm only 20 points off without it!
hope this helps !

Just remembered they do accept AS points, associated studies and general studies.Last edited by pinksfun; 01-12-2011 at 23:32.
