Nope. But I emailed them recently with a question and they answered with this -
"UK students are expected to move into their accommodation on the weekend of the 22nd & 23rd September. We will start allocating rooms to those students with unconditional course offers from July; when you receive your offer you will have a week to accept this and pay a deposit in order to confirm the booking. If on the other hand your course offer is conditional on certain criteria then we will wait until these are fulfilled before we can provide you with an offer of a room."
So I think we can expect to start receiving offers pretty soon! Can't wait!
Hey just thought I would reply to this as I have an unconditional from herts and I received my accommodation offer recently so you should get yours quite soon I should imagine!

Re: University of Hertfordshire applicants 2012I thot the govt ( student loan) helped to pay for student accommodation(Original post by KorbenDallas)
Got my accommodation offer today, Telford Court! Woo. Now I need to dig up £400 in 7 days... -
Re: University of Hertfordshire applicants 2012When you get an offer of accommodation you have a week to accept. You then have to cough up the deposit yourself. The loan will help pay for the rent when you start.(Original post by Ideeva)

Re: University of Hertfordshire applicants 2012Yep, only a few hours ago though. You can also login to residences.herts.ac.uk and it will say if you've had an offer yet. If not it will say 'processing application' or something like that. You'll get an offer soon, don't worry.(Original post by brontemodeste)

The student loan covers rent when you move in, but when you receive an accommodation offer you have 7 days to accept and pay a £400 deposit to confirm it.(Original post by Ideeva)

Re: University of Hertfordshire applicants 2012
Hey guys can someone help me out? I got my unconditional and accomodation offer today (yey) but it's telling me to login to accept... um, where do I get my login details? I suspect my student number will be my username but can't find a password anywhere. No other emails from the uni or nothing. Am I missing something obvious?

Re: University of Hertfordshire applicants 2012Hmm then that contradicts their own contract, in the contract it says:(Original post by KorbenDallas)
The student loan covers rent when you move in, but when you receive an accommodation offer you have 7 days to accept and pay a £400 deposit to confirm it.
6.1 The Licensee agrees that the Deposit paid to the University by the Licensee shall be retained by the University subject to the remaining provisions of this clause 6. If the Licensee has not paid the Deposit to the University prior to taking occupation of the Room, then it shall do so within 3 days of taking occupation. -
Re: University of Hertfordshire applicants 2012You login to residences.herts.ac.uk with the same username/password you created to apply for accommodation.(Original post by Muddy_Hands)

Re: University of Hertfordshire applicants 2012Thanks, got there eventually. Ended up resetting my password, couldn't remember what I set it as before(Original post by KorbenDallas)
You login to residences.herts.ac.uk with the same username/password you created to apply for accommodation.
Anyway, looks like me and you are both going to be at Telford
