I applied as an international. And nope, I didn't provide a copy of my passport.
Just out of interest, why did you apply as an International student on your application? If your eligible to pay home fees then you would've a good chance of paying home fees as you are backed up by your school.

Well I don't live in England currently, and I moved away four years ago. I put I'd be financed privately, because I don't intend to get a student loan.

I got told by almost everyone that I should apply as an international since I wouldn't be considered a home student as I haven't lived in the UK for three years prior... only to be told (after I'd sent off my UCAS) that I could have applied as a home student because I go back to the UK twice a year and my parents still own a house there and all of these other funny circumstances!

It's all so annoying. I managed to get my fee status revised by Leeds (my other top choice) but just like Liverpool they're yet to get back to me...

I wish the world didn't revolve around money

Anything to do with finance is made to be confusing for obvious reasons unfortunately. Just out of interest, where do you currently reside and did you apply to certain universities over there?

I live in Uganda, and I didn't apply to any unis here because the only thing really keeping me going in Year 13 is knowing I'll get to leave here (the country isn't bad, but I wouldn't really want to stay here).
I also don't think I can handle the hot weather anymore I want to go somewhere COLD!
I did apply to Canada and South Africa though

Similar circumstances as you, except I applied as home student straight away even though I've lived outside of the UK for 6 years, yet I am still a resident of the UK. All the other uni's have formally replied to me saying that I have achieved Home Status for my fees after submitting the forms... except Liverpool. When I rang and asked if they had made a decision they said that normally if they don't contact you it means it has been accepted, and they will only contact you if they need any further information to make a decision... hope that helps?

Oh this was helpful in the morning, but then I got to school and I got mail from Liverpool saying they'd considered me an international student ah well. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to firm or insure them anyway, so I guess it's alright

 Random question... Does anyone know if I would be able to apply for accommodation at Derby and Rathbone... because the course i've applied for is Occupational Therapy. The accommodation at D&R is 39 week contract, but (according to this years timetable for OT) the course I'm going to be studying is 40/41 week...

Does anyone know if I'd be able to extend the contract or not? I've just heart that the off campus accomm is better for socialising etc xx
