Hi. Im studying BSc healthcare sciences (physiological sciences) at st. george's and im hoping to study cardiac physiology, which i guess is the same as what your hoping to study . I know this is a bit early, but what are you hoping to do after you have graduated after the 3 years, work or further study?

Im thinking of applying for the MSc Clinical Sciences (Cardiac Science) as soon as i can after i've graduated so that i can become a Senior Healthcare scientist (Cardiology)

Hey! I am going to study Healthcare science at St George's this sept. I was wondering how did you find your first year at St george's? Was the subjects hard? If you stayed in the halls, how did you find it? So nervous about starting uni this sept
Hey!

I am thinking of applying for cardiac physiology and am currently in year 13. I am looking round Unis, really want to get into leeds swansea or st georges in london as they seem the best. Just wondered if anyone has started this course at uni and could tell me what its like. got BCC in bio, p.e and chem so dont know if i will get in at Leeds as there it is ABB.
Hey guys, I am a first year at SGUL so if you have any questions feel free to ask

Umm i wanted to but only have biology as a science. gonna ring them and see if they will accept geography. I'm applying to leeds need ABB .. wanna go into cardiac physiology so need to specialise in cardiology and i thing only southampton (AAB) Leeds (ABB) st george and Manchester met (BCC) specialise in cardiology.

well i know anglia ruskin and de montford do cardiology, respi, and sleep but they are really low on league tables so dont know if i should apply to them! :/ fml!

Hey guys had my interview last week Monday. it went pretty will. it took me ages to get down from up north about 5 hours.. then i had to commute from the main campus to fulbourn which cost me 10 pounds :/ didn't budget on that.. Advice for interview i would say know the course your applying for and have a clear understanding of your future goals and aspirations.. and REVISE all your stuff on blood.. blood capillaries etc lungs .. surface area all your stuff from as really.. that's what i did and aced the biological question they asked me.. (they ask a random question and want you to apply your biological concepts to the question.) to make are you understand the theory and you don't just memories things. right enough of the rant and good news is i got a conditional offer through 2days ago. important not on tsr much so message me your Facebook if you wanna ask anymore questions  good luck!

i did AS biology. currently i am planning on dropping bio for next year (i am waiting for the results day). do u think its a bad idea if i dont do A2 bio? ibtw i do chemistry and psychology.
Hi, I'm a second year student at Sunderland studying pharmacy but looking to swap over to physiological sciences. I've spoken to the course leader and she said I could go straight to 3rd year which is great , but I'm not really familiar with the job prospects? Any advice?
Hi, does anyone currently on the course know (or able to send a link/find out) the occupational health policies on healthcare science physiology at any unis offering it? Ideally ruskin but any?

I will fail occ health but I also know a student doctor who failed but is still at uni but another student could not get on any midwifery course..... idk what to do!
My dream is to work with sleep and/or in resiratory physiology and this course sounds perfect. I know the job roles are suitable for bbv carriers (I've asked the nhs occ health), would universities accept bbv carriers on to the courses as the courses involve all specialities and areas? Are there epps in comuplsary modules? They are being rather vague about it when ask admissions!
I don't want to waste all my ucas application on healthcare science just to be turned down at the last hurdle with no back up and find its a pipe dream and I should have gone for Dietetics (which do except bbv carriers some unis I called). I will probably have the grades and I work with cardiac issues atm so I think I'm okay other than the occupational health...

Please if anyone knows the universities policies occ health reply or pm me! I've downloaded all their occ health files but none have an answer.

Just wondering what the placements are like, as in how many days you do a week and the hours
