If you really feel you can afford to spend your student loan on shoes, maybe wait til the end of the year incase you need it in the end.

It is a lot of money for velvet shoes in Britain however, they will get ruined if you ever wear them outside.

I can afford it (thanks to student loan) but I don't know if I can justify spending that type of money when that could buy 50 shoeless homeless people a pair of shoes and so on.

I think it's pretty funny that the majority of you have gone on relentlessly about how 'ugly' they are, FYI not everyone has the same taste and like the same things if we did then it would be a boring world!
