yes, the society is very active. Its a great group of people (I think one of the committee is on here somewhere and will probably pop up soon) who have a brilliant support system and do a lot of fun events. A lot of my friends were very active in it a few years ago, they loved it.

^^^ What Ice_cube said. I'd go so far as to say that they were one of the most active societies at Bristol. Try looking for them on Facebook and message them or I reckon you'd be fine to just turn up!

Hey, my name is Kelvin and I'm the new President of the Bristol Uni LGBT+ Society.

It's been a long time since your post, and I don't know if anyone ever got back to you or if you managed to find us on Facebook, but I can assure you that we are indeed a very active society, especially during term time!

Our website went down in early October last year (just as we were approaching Freshers) because the Union revamped their website and that sort of messed up our website as well. The address www.gayinbristol.com should be working fine now. We will be creating a new website over the Summer so keep a look out for that!

The best way to keep updated with what's happening with the society is via our Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/uob.lgbtplus.soc

If you (or anyone else) has any questions, please feel free to drop me a message, either here or on Facebook or at Your email has been removed for privacy reasons - if you wish to exchange contact details, please use the Private Messaging system.. I will do my best to answer any questions you might have!
