Titration in a lab and in an industry

I was wondering if anyone could answer two questions of mine, i'll be really grateful
I have an assignment to do about how titrations are done in the industry and how it is similar/different to titrations done in a laboratory.
So i was wondering if anyone knew why someone would use a manual titration in the lab and why you would use titrations in an industry.
