Re: Manchester Derby United-City 23/10/11 13:30Yes, no one from a side that has been in 3 CL finals in 4 years would get into a side that got schooled by Bayern.(Original post by 122025278)
Hardly any of our starting lineup would get in the Man City side, Rooney and Nani that's it, but probably not Rooney with his form recently. -
Re: Manchester Derby United-City 23/10/11 13:30And before their one goal they didn't test De Gea .. we had more posession and shots before Evans. No1 can say who would have won, but no doubt we would have scored and it would have been a god game either way.(Original post by BoringComputerGuy)
Even before we were down to 10 we hardly tested Joe Hart. .
But in other news... Yay? xD -
Re: Manchester Derby United-City 23/10/11 13:30
Evans was picked over Jones because he has more experience in a UTD shirt at CB, and these type of games experience is needed.
Although his schoolboy error was laughable and not a great sign of his experience.
I'm sure SAF will make sure he knows it too.
This was always going to be a hard game, plus we've played all of the other teams in the top 6, plus Stoke at home. Which are some of the hardest games of the season. This is all with an injury-plagued defence. We've got a run of games against opponents which on paper, we should beat without any real problems. Hopefully this will build up a momentum for us and gets us playing like we were at the start of the season. -
Re: Manchester Derby United-City 23/10/11 13:30City hardly ****ing tested De Gea before scoring? But ignore that......(Original post by BoringComputerGuy)
No, but we can't just rely on Cleverly, we really need at least 2 top class midfielders.
Even before we were down to 10 we hardly tested Joe Hart. We looked poor Against Liverpool, and have looked quite vulnerable defensively since the Chelsea game.
That goal we just scored kind of makes your argument null and void..... -
Re: Manchester Derby United-City 23/10/11 13:30Ah yes because Man City had this exact same team in 2008 didn't they. lol.(Original post by ish90an)

Re: Manchester Derby United-City 23/10/11 13:30How about having 10 men and still putting up a good performance? Sounds good to me.(Original post by Oh my Ms. Coffey)
Waiting for the Man U fans to bring out the excuses. You got LADotelli'd. -

Yeah my argument is null and void. Now that we have a consolation goal, I DEFINITELY think we will dominate the league this year, and our midfield is AWESOME.
4-1 now... -

Hmm.. given you still have all of the top teams to play, and we have.. none?. We'll see. City definitely have a harder league ahead of them.
