Quick question

I am looking at a course at Nottingham university and underneath the entry requirements section it says this:

Required subjects: pass in fourth AS level (excluding general studies); also GCSE maths grade B or above

I am just wondering, does a D count as a pass? I got AABD at AS and this is the only thing that would stop me from applying as I meet all the other requirements. I always thought C was a pass but I'm not sure because someone told me even an E counts as a pass?

Thanks.

An E counts as a pass. If they really wanted a pass at C or above they would have written that

Okay thanks for that!
Yeah, A-Levels are not like GCSEs when it comes to grades. An E is a pass because naturally, further education is higher to achieve good results in.
